I adore this cuff from New Look, it's beautiful yet reminds me of gauntlets on medieval armour.

I think this blouse is so pretty. I love the colour and the lace collar is so delicate yet so on trend.

I love these handwarmers, they're so cute and even a touch quirky. They certainly beat boring old plain black ones.

Isn't this bag lovely? Pretty and practical, just how a satchel should be.

I freaking adore these earrings, look how beautiful they are. Just like little parasols, amazing.

This hat looks amazing, with my blonde hair it'd really stand out and I appreciate the work that must've gone into it, colour work isn't easy.

Just because Nivea is best for my skin, and if anyone wants to get it me for Christmas, I'll be happy.

Happy Birthday to Me!

As my birthday is this month, my wants list for September features things I am likely to buy!




It's rare for me to want perfume, but I love the smell and the bottle of this one!

Ok, so I'm not likely to buy this bag, but it doesn't mean that I don't really, really want it! I freaking love the colour, not to mention it's covered in SQUIRRELS! I love squirrels, there's one who comes into my garden and I'll watch him for ages, I call him Fatty, Fatty the Squirrel, because he eats the food my mom puts out for the birds, so he's bigger than most squirrels you see. Right now I'm wondering how many times I've said squirrel in this paragraph. Only 5 times, pfft.

I think this tunic would see me well into the new year, throw it on with tights or leggings and Bob's your Uncle etc, plus yellow is my favourite colour.

I haven't heard any rave reviews of this book, it just caught my interest when I was doing the weekly shop, and I've always been interested in the meanings of things, and the story itself makes this seem like a nice little read.

I have adored these shoes since they appeared on Asos. I literally bookmarked the page! I adore them, they look like shoes that would be worn in the Tudor period. I think they'd look so cute with a dress or skirt or just my jeans.

I've never owned a pair of jeggings before, mostly because they look quite disgusting, but I like this pair, mostly because they look like jeans, even have the back pockets!

It's is getting colder now, so it's time to pull out the long sleeves, and buy some more too. I like the range of colours you can get this top in, but I think the blue is my favourite. Look out for this top in a future Carrie Files installment.

I'd really like a watch like this, mostly because I never pick up my phone when I go out, so it'd be nice to know the time.

Paint it Black

Time for another wants, this time for the classic, never out of style, black.



This dress is so beautiful, so gothic, sexy and romantic. I really adore it. The goth look is in this Autumn/Winter. The lace is revealing yet the slip allows intruige.

I actually saw this hat and tried it on instore. It's so much fun, I do have a love of hats, so this would be great on one of those bright, Autumn days.

I love feathers at the moment, so it's no surprise that I really want this bag. It's classy, grown up but not boring. The textures stop this black bag being dull.

When I saw this ring I automatically thought "This is how the Hallows/Horcrux should have looked in Half Blood Prince. It has potential to be bought to be made into the prop.

I really love socks, they can make you so happy. I adore this pair of socks. They're so kooky and fun.

Such a beautiful bracelet. It really reminds me of Canal boat paintings. A really beautiful yet demure piece of decoration for your wrist.

Such an amazing pair of shoes. The fun of glitter, combined with classy, cool shoes. These are real New Years Eve shoes.

Chocolate Dreams

Aah time for another wants. This time in delicious shades of brown.



This cardigan is so perfection, the colour is a beautiful rusty shade and the buckle fastenings are so quirky. It reminds me of the 1940's style, somehow. The fact that it's boxy could be a big turn off but the deep v neck saves it, allowing it to showcase your shape, not drown it.

As soon as I saw this backpack I adored it, and technically it is brown considering the straps and buckles are brown *cough* I think it's great for long weekends, festivals or day trips. This is the perfect backpack as most are so unflattering utilitarian or masculine yet this is so obviously feminine.

The skirt is a nice clean shape, a cool, retro, 70's style. The buttons make it look less frumpy.

One of my favourite things at this time of year is the knitwear, cables being my favourite. So this waistcoat is so charming, with it's geek cool vibe.

I adore these boots, I think they'd go with dresses, skirts, shorts, jeans, basically anything. They'll see you through the Autumn season but also through Winter.

Julie Blue

Points for whoever gets the root of the post title.
I'm in a Blue mood this month, so I present you my top picks.

The parasol is very cute, I've always loved the oriental style, and this is just so beautiful. It's just a beautiful shade of blue and the little flowers are so cute. Though perhaps not the most practical piece to, but then, when has fashion ever been about being practical?

I really like the shades of this eye pencil, they'd work well together or seperate. It's a bargain too.

I think the dress is very pretty, it's in a 50's style but has the quirky little cut out front which gives it a more-sexy-than-cute vibe. The colour would flatter most skin types, I think. It would look spectacular with a yellow skinny belt.

This bag is just so spectacular, this is the first example of colour blocking that I'd use. I love the blue and yellow together, and the clasp. This would really brighten up a jeans and tshirt combo.

Agate is everywhere right now, and I really admire it. It's a beautiful blue, and I love my accessories, hence me featuring this necklace.

A girl can never be apart from her shoes, and I am said girl. I really like these flats, they have that really sweet cut out detail and they're such a nice colour. Sadly it appears that these shoes have sold out online.

Finally, this top is so sweet. I love the Cath Kidson-esque print, combined with the lace trim just makes it super cute! Sadly it appears that this has also sold out online.

You are my Candy Girl

I'm not the biggest fan of the colour pink, but it is a really pretty colour and looks really fresh in the summer time. So here are my wants this time.

The Headband is a rather cute piece, and I'm rather loving head wear at the moment. I think the stripes are cute but also grown up at the same time. You could make a vest and jeans seem more interesting with one of these.

I may not be the biggest fan of pink, but I'm lusting over these Sunglasses, which are from Asos, but you can see they're pricey and not in my budget at the present time, unless someone would like to buy me them. They are really quirky, but classy at the same time, the arms have a sweet little star pattern on them, and I adore them.

I chose the Bangle because it has a sweet little message but really I don't think you're ever too old for Disney.

It's such a pretty Dress, I'm in love with the pattern and cut of it, it's beaded too which makes it extra special. I believe that it would look beautiful with a brown boyfriend style belt, wooden bangles and a gorgeous pair of wedges.

You know how I said Wedges just? Well these are co cute! I think they'd go with the dress (above) but would look great with jeans and a t-shirt or vest . They have that country vibe that's so in right now too.

I do have a love for e.l.f cosmetics at the moment and I think this Lipstick is beautiful. The shade is called Gypsy and it's also sheer, so definately a your-lips-but-better lipstick.

Sweet as a Plum

I really love purple at the moment, it's just such a delicious colour!

I really like the sheer shirt trend, but the blouses are, well, I'm funny with shirts, I'm of the big-bust persuasion you see, and all natural! But this one from New Look, I wouldn't mind buying in a too-big-for-me size, as it's tie fronted and would look nice over a plain vest (like pictured), I adore the rasberry/ribena colour of it too!

I really like the dress too, perhaps more going out than every day wear, but it's adorable, the orange waist band means it's perfect for the colour blocking trend.

Barry M Nail Paint's Berry Icecream. *sigh* I really love this colour, but I can't find it anywhere, it's even sold out on the Barry M website! *throws a tantrum like a child* just kidding. In all seriousness I do want this nail varnish, it's so pretty and I have all the other ice cream shades!

This camisole is so cute, yet the black lace gives it that sexy edge. I love the colour, that dusky purple is just to die for. I think it'd look nice in the daytime with jeans and a blazer, or dressed up with shorts, tights, heels and killer acessories!

I think there's something so beautiful about an agate necklace, so natural and raw yet the setting makes it so glam!

Aren't those pumps the cutest? I love the fact they're floral, and the bar across makes them look slightly sporty but oh so femmine!
