I'm giving it an Autumn twist, given the time of year. I've also muted the yellow accessories to match the shade of yellow in the chosen dress, much like Carrie matched the shade of her shoes to her dress.

Alternatively, you could buy a length of wide black grosain ribbon and tie it around your waist.
